The First Schedule of the SRO provides: In addition to any other fees payable to a solicitor under this Order, a solicitor who arranges:- (a) a sale for a vendor (other than a sale by public auction in which event rule 4 of this Schedule shall apply); or (b) a purchase by a purchaser, and negotiates the price and terms and conditions thereof, shall be entitled to an additional negotiating fee equivalent to the full scale fee specified.
